For this part of the garden bed, I stood the blocks on end, so they are halfway buried in the dirt, with the gravel and sand base.
So unfortunately, I didn't take any in progress pictures of this one. It took a weekend to build this one.
Behind this one that I built, there was a cheesy looking fire pit with just a single row of trapezoidal blocks. So I built this one using a kit from Menards that included all the necessary parts. I finished this one in two days. I had to call JULIE to mark where the cable/phone lines were, because I knew they were nearby.
Along the street side, the dogs wore out a path next to the fence, running up and down.
Marie turned all the grass into dirt, planted hydrangeas and put in a fence. Of course, the dogs then wore a new path alongiside the garden fence. So we decided to put in a path for them to run up and down, using the old blocks that we had dug up in other part of the yard.
